American Social is the dream of two creative college friends with a vision of opening a gastro bar serving All-American food and a fine selection of craft beers. They accomplished this with their Miami location in 2012 and Fort Lauderdale in 2015. Now, Tampa is slated as the next location with preparations in the fast lane for a late spring or early summer opening at The Pointe on Harbour Island. When south of the border fare beckons, recently opened Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has the menu to satisfy hungry appetites. Located on Fowler Avenue near USF in Temple Terrace, Fuzzy’s features signature Baja tacos, huge plus-sized burritos, refried beans, specialty fried rice, black beans, Latin-fried potatoes, and some of the best in Tex-Mex breakfast favorites, served all day long.
