Like most major metropolitan areas, Tampa has a smorgasbord of good places to eat. Lucky for us, the selection of great restaurants is always growing. From casual eateries and family-style restaurants to fine dining establishments, the newest restaurants in Tampa are adding to the flavors of the area’s culinary scene.

American Social
Downtown Tampa

American Social is the dream of two creative college friends with a vision of opening a gastro bar serving All-American food and a fine selection of craft beers. They accomplished this with their Miami location in 2012 and Fort Lauderdale in 2015. Now, Tampa is slated as the next location with preparations in the fast lane for a late spring or early summer opening at The Pointe on Harbour Island. The menu will be a pleasure for all palates from signature burgers to organic salads accompanied by one of over 40 cold craft beers, choices from an extensive wine selection, or made-to-order handcrafted cocktails. americansocialbar.com
